What is the OilLink International Energy Summit?

The Oil Link Energy Investment Summit is an annual gathering of key players from all across the global energy industry, both traditional and non-traditional, to focus on premier investment, business and technology development opportunities in the booming Asian market. It is the largest industry event of its kind in the Asia region with an expected participation of 1,000-1,500 people for 2018.
The 2018 Summit will focus on China’s most ambitious development strategy in recent years, dubbed “the Belt and Road Initiative” (BRI), as it relates to international energy collaboration among Eurasian countries along the so-called economic and maritime Silk Road. At this event, financiers, technical experts, equipment manufacturers, energy and service companies and many critical players in the energy field will convene to identify and address critical capital and service needs under the larger cooperative framework of BRI. Important industry players from North America, Russia, Central Asia, Middle East, Africa, etc., will have a dedicated 2-day space for building meaningful connections and expanding valuable partnerships.

What’s on the Agenda of Oil Link 2018 Summit?

The Oil Link 2018 Summit will provide a conference agenda closely aligned with today’s trends and reality in the Chinese energy market to facilitate business investment and collaboration dialogues under a well-designed framework.
The conference will focus on three key themes:
1. How China can better participate in cross-border market opportunities leveraging its capital, technology, market share and policy competitiveness?
2. A roadshow to connect premier institutional and corporate investors with industry professionals, initiatives, projects and technology companies.
3. How to deploy new business movements now that China has launched its yuan-denominated oil futures to foreign investors on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SFE), a milestone not only to China’s petroleum industry and futures market but also to the Asian-Pacific and global market?
